He has not been publicly identified and all the Benghazi survivors refer to him as Bob. I met and interviewed a couple people who were involved and Bob was a trainer who had no background working in hot spots like Benghazi. He was only supposed to be temporary but they couldn’t get an experienced person to take over. One of them told me that at the end of the movie where Bob was shown as being confused was a lie. He was crying about the whole situation because he was in way over his head and the movie made him look more competent than what he was.
Thanks for this information. How does one get to be a trainer if they’ve had no background experience working hot spots? That person would be useless. Was “Bob” a DEI hire, or did he have a Daddy or two at the CIA? Leon Panetta was Director from 2009 to 2011. General Petraeus was in that post for a little over a year. The Benghazi attack occurred 5 days after Petraeus took over, which leads me to believe that “Bob” had his post prior to the General becoming Director.
