It's so sad to see children separated from their parents simply for wanting to migrate for a better opportunity.

There’s no I 55 in Michigan, and Pontiac isn’t in Livingston County, so the Livingston County sheriff wouldn’t have any authority there.

Unless they were held captive or were illegals, what exactly is the problem?
I used to ride with my cousins in the bed of my uncle's pickup truck. If they're from Louisiana, they're probably used to the heat. And they don't look like they're suffering from heat stroke in the photos.
Just another excuse for an arrest and DCFS to get more cash reimbursement.

Yes, very sad to see the children separated from their parents like that. Taken into state custody like that is probably much more dangerous than riding in a uhaul.
