Reddington kills his own logic\argument\ranting by quoting a ruling by the 1st Circuit in another case.

reddington quotes the 1st circuit on a like case “...while jurors possess a raw power to acquit for any reason...”
and does go on to further qualify the jurors duty...

bottom line....a judge may instruct the jury on the law, but cannot make an individual juror apply it
