You know, if they want to sell me on the value of data centers, then they need to show me the value of them. Not just “China’s gonna have them so we should too” - what do they actually do for me? How do they make MY life better? How can they be used without violating my 4th amendment rights?
Frankly, I don’t see the value, and I think it’s the opposite. Data Centers + Flock Cameras = Totalitarian dictatorship. Whether it’s run by China, our government, or a handful of extremely large international conglomerates, it is not in our best interest. People do NOT want to be controlled, and that is the only end result I see in data collection and a nationwide/global spy network.
I have asked myself this a number of times; I haven't really dug in to find the answers - too many distractions at present. However, they are good questions!
