Friend in Vegas say they evacuate the tunnels underneath the city during the rainy season. Said you’ll see furniture spill out during large washouts.
We had a real gullywhumper one summer in Iowa. After it died down a bit, all that water drove about 4 or 5 of the largest Raccoons out of the street sewers I’d ever seen, I mean we’re talking Boone & Crockett. (do they have that for coons!?) I didn’t know they could even get half that sized. They weren’t in a great mood either, didn’t look like.
