The phrasing of casting “safe from” pregnancy is to characterize it as being a disease. Similarly I have yet to see the couple that gets pregnant without exactly one voluntary physical act or a lot of artificial procedure.
Likewise there are things males are not “safe from” in pregnancy inclusive of having children they desire aborted against their will in current law, and post-partum actions whether legal or, as in the current case, attempts to justify murder of already-born children.
For these reasons and others of the same vein that may occur, “safe from” is not a good choice of phrase here. I get your point but “safe from” is treating a human life as if it were a wart.
