Women stood up for their equal rights, and stood their ground against largely male opposition. While they were fighting for their rights, men were spending their time and money on spectator sports, strip bars, porn, and prostitution. That was billions every year that could have gone into the fight for their rights.

The ERA would have made all laws based on sex unconstitutional. Phyllis Schalfly made that clear in her opposition to the ERA, which was based on the acronym STOP, "Stop Taking Our Privileges". She put up an anti-feminist front, and men fell for it. The ERA didn't pass, and women got their rights anyway while men got nothing. Whose choice was that?
What does all of this have to do with abortion? Do you really need to ask? Besides what I have already documented, men supported abortion rights because they saw it as an opportunity to have sex without paying child support. When that didn't work out the way they wanted, they came up with their own counter claim and called it "forced fatherhood".
Yes, women do it too, and they will continue for as long as men are a willing part.
