This issue is simply part of the disinclination of the dis inclination of too many republicans to both actually governs and to challenge the assumption that Democrats are the rightful party of government. While I believe this is worse in the Senate than the house, it involves far too many members, especially those in the leadership who are afraid of asking their members to actually do their job and take votes on issues where even their supporters are not unified nor are most of their donors.

yeah, the change is slow. however, the democrats are finished as a ruling party.
