The anti-datacenter people always talk about data centers using too much water. The cooler system use distilled water so that nothing accumulates or grows in the coolers. They’ll fill up the systems when they build the data centers, and if they need to top them up, it won’t be from the local taps, it’ll be from other sources of distilled water.
That statement contradicts everything Beale Infrastructure told the people in rural Wagoner County. I went to the meeting. Beale rep said they needed water from rural water district for the cooling towers.
