It’s not actually the spending that’s the issue, it’s the creating the funds to facilitate that spending that’s the problem. THe money supply is increasing due to fractional reserve bankstering, and the governement is first to spend this new “money”, while we as savers have part of our accounts stolen in the form of inflation.
The chart below clearly illustrates the insidious addictive quality of the government printing press.
We Americans have built this huge wall of debt and the addiction has been completely out of control for decades. Why is the price of gold approaching $5,000 an ounce when it was $35 an ounce back in 1971. Something has busted loose somewhere.
As stated in another thread: " We have built a huge wall that will soon topple over on us, creating much pain.
But what is to be done since paper, ink and faith have always been in great supply."
