In the General/Chat forum, on a thread titled Once again, Trump Truthed Jim Rickards' video forecast of historic levels of societal and financial turmoil in the run-up to the November 3, 2026 midterm elections. [MY EXTENSIVE NOTES, video at link], pierrem15 wrote: I was waiting for Trump t start the arrests and invoke the Insurrection Act last year. I'm still waiting. And Trump is still stymied by a 1000 injunctions slowly wending their way through the system. Time to cut the Gordian knot.
I believe Trump may have wanted to get issues with China, Russia, Iran, Ukraine, Venezuela, Cuba etc. well inĀ hand before rolling out his domestic plan.
Trump is the only one who actually fights 1000 injunctions and wins - rule of law is important. 'Cutting the Gordian Knot" would be used by lefties against freedom itself (see the plandemic for details) so Trump follows the law and elevates the problem of lawfare to the public eye, where policies need to be discussed and enacted to save America from dictatorial courts.
Trump is winning - he went through all the legal hurdles to make it possible to deport illegals and with a recent Supreme Court win, after countless injunctions, the media and lefty talking heads are now silent on the topic. They don't want their base to know they lost in court. So deportations are accelerating....
The fundamental premise of this argument is that the left in the US can somehow be persuaded to respect the law and institutional framework of the American republic if we respect principle and exercise restraint.
I see absolutely no evidence that this is the case. The only thing that can contain the left, once it has become as powerful as it is now and gained control of so many institutions, is force.
Trump or some conservative will use force; or, if not, we will slide fairly quickly into a vicious leftist one party state, fascism in blackface as the identity left makes a deal with the oligarchic sell-out-America business class.
