Portland used to be the center of the lumber industry. It has been going downhill into a liberal hell hole utopia for at least thirty years.
Most of those companies moved somewhere else. At least to Bend or other saner locations.
It is now a smaller version of San Fran.
That sounds right to me.
I assume that environmentalists killed the Oregon timber industry. Bringing back the timber industry would be good for jobs and for home construction.
