Civil rights violations are being trumped by "qualified immunity" defenses. That makes it somehow excusable for government employees to remain ignorant of their obligations to respect citizens' constitutional rights. Free speech has been trampled by harassment complaints. That should be limited to a person who legitimately is in fear of assault due to outrageous conduct, not anytime some gets called a name they don't like because they provoked a disagreement. It's gotten ridiculous.
