Gustavo Gordillo is a fool. An electrician apprenticeship is a highly sought after position. They usual start you off at half off of full scale, with a pay increase every six months until you become a journeyman. It takes 5 years. What an ungrateful SOB.
At an early part of my life, I alo started out as an apprentice electrician, with not quite half pay, but it was better than what I’d made previously. I worked for it, tho. Later had to give it up as my employer went bankrupt. Needing a job, I got into a different field, but it turned out to pay way less in the long run than the apprentice electrician job would have. Youthful mistake. Ended up going into auto work as apprentice, then full time professional, licensed & experienced. Should have tried to stay with electrical trade.
