I don’t disagree.

But would you agree that ANYTHING this guy says in public is going to end up being examined in any State case against him?

Any attorney would tell him to shut his mouth. This advice pretty much applies to any time any authority wants you to testify.

I know it’s not popular and it certainly does not provide closure to the whole pandemic BS. But life is not clean that way. I wish it were.

“But life is not clean that way. I wish it were.”

The effort to put him in the crosshairs is having the appearance of going after him for decisions he made during the covid period. He was not in charge of making decisions concerning what actions to take. He could recommend, but not announce nor set policy. The final say on that belonged by the Constitution to the states themselves. The Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution does not explicitly name “health”. Instead, it reserves all powers not granted to the federal government to the states. This principle forms the constitutional basis for state “police powers” over public health, safety, and general welfare.

The feds do have a certain contol of products through interstate commerce and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention which tracks disease outbreaks, issues national health guidelines, and handles federal quarantine measures for interstate or foreign threats. But Fauci is not attached to them or makes decision for them. That is the call of the president ultimately.

Is he honest, I don’t think so. Is he profitting from this, not proven. Did he make the decisions to create the overall disaster, no. And his decisions were reviewed by a number of agencies before the president, both Trump and Biden, made the final ones. They don’t have anything on him. This work being done by now four states, Florida, West Virginia, Louisiana and recently Alabama, are nothing more than wasted time and what could appear to be covering their own azz as they did the work and are Constitutionally in charge of the results for their states. I guess the best defense is a good offense.
