“...they will have to grant him immunity.”

He already has it. Biden issued a preemptive, unconditional pardon to Dr. Anthony Fauci on January 20, pardoning him for every crime attached to the covid actions. So Fauci is illegally using the fifth to claim self incrimination for something he can’t be tried and covicted of on anything they ask him, like the color of his tie, and he then can be in contempt of congress if they wish to persue it.

He is going quiet because if he names names on who he was working with or for concerning the covid span, he will end up just like Epstein. They can only put him in jail for 5 years but that would be perferable to the more permanant alternative.

He is being investigated in FL and probably other places. So, testimony can be used as evidence. While he was pardoned for Federal Crimes, he still has state liability. In order for him to talk, he would have to be granted immunity, meaning his testimony could not be used in ANY prosecution.

I understand the desire to “string him up” but he is listening to his lawyers—and the lawyers are right in this case.

I guess it comes down to a choice: They can prosecute him or they can get him to talk. You aren’t getting both.
