Obama’s pad is on Oahu, which is not as terribly exposed as is SW “Hawaii County”.
(Each individual island is a County).
I use to live on Oahu. That is the ONLY beach house that ever got permits to remodel in all ten years I was there. And these are even liberal billionaires trying to get permits in Lani Kai. My neighbor had been trying to build for decades and died without ever getting approval. Obama shows up, a shrine to that purple lipped Kenyan gets built in the airport, and the county moves heaven and earth to make sure he got everything he wanted.
