Ok, that does. Free Republic just crossed the line and I'm through with it.
I just made a post and it was almost immediately pulled. The reason given, "altered headline," has got to be the biggest farce I've ever seen. That headline came right off the video. Instead, I'm willing to bet that because it was critical of Trump and his administration, THAT'S the reason why it was pulled.
I've been contempting this, but your actions have now solidified my decision to leave FR completely. I've been tired of seeing anyone and everyone who is critical of Trump being treated this way. Until you folks come back to your senses. count me out.

I saw your post before it was pulled. Planned on responding but got busy. Everybody under ago 50 that I talk to says the same thing as the youtuber. I’m starting to worry. The strong desire for change coupled with the promises of the dem/socialists and the short memory of Americans looks bad for the R’s. 2026 is beginning to look like 2008 and 2000. The frothy stock market dependent on AI is looking like the dotcom and banking disasters. If a recession is engineered before the midterms, well Katie bar the door.
Obviously your call, but posts getting pulled happen, regardless if a post is pro-Trump, not-pro-Trump, anti-Trump, etc.

AI is amazing. I went to Google, typed “freerepublic.com libbylu damn you all”, and the exact thread popped up in about two seconds.
Yeah, but AI comes up with some of the darndest mistakes, sometimes even contradicting itself in a single response. It often suffers from GIGO, too.

I look at the cost as having a fresh newspaper every time I click the link. And I’d rather the money spent on a newspaper go to a cause I support. Free Republic is my #1 site I go to.
