The Chicago Board Options Exchange is now a data center in Secaucus, New Jersey, as is the New York Stock Exchange in Mahwah, New Jersey. NASDAQ's main data center is in Carteret, New Jersey. There are no signs, noise, visitors. The data centers have been there for years, are just big quiet buildings not bothering anybody. Few envy-possessed nutballs even know about them.
Main Media needs to do an in-depth look as the data center controversy.
Who is funding it?
What are the legitimate concerns?
When automobiles took to the roads beside horses there were legitimate concerns.
With all technology there are legitimate concerns... just as there were with learning to ride that wild horse.
But on FR, in Red suburban and rural counties who is behind the fear mongering? The panic peddling?
