Go back to the way of doing this without the internet...or create separate intranets not accessible to the WWW - eventually they may be forced to come up with something like this if things like this increase.
Forgetting how to do things “the old way” is going to have serious consequences one of these days.
the old ways seem smarter, cheaper and take a few more people to operate. but the new ways have... someone grifting related to someone in charge of something making it more complicated and needing another company to run it so that they can grift on it more.
