Actually, they did not run around naked-they made clothing, and even people who were semi-nomadic built homes/huts to live in during the times when they were not following game/hunting. Archaeological discoveries have shown for years how advanced people were in Neolithic times-it is not new information...

This painting by Pinturicchio discovered at the Vatican proves otherwise... Painted between 1492 and 1494, it's believed to be the first artwork depicting natives... As you can clearly see... They are wearing nothing.
Clothing was added to appease the prudes back in Europe.
