Remember those who led the "intelligence" attempt to impeach President Trump over a twisted account of a half an overheard phone call with Zelensky?

That event, in a nutshell, is the reason why so many republicans oppose aid to Ukraine and even root for victory by Russia.

I too was angered by the attempt to impeach Trump over a phone call, but, I was too smart to dwell on a single event that had no relevance to what Russia was attempting to do in Ukraine.

Those that attempted to impeach should be brought to trial, but, I can look beyond that to the bigger picture and the much more important situation with Russia vs Ukraine.

There were corrupt people in Ukraine, but, giving up on Ukraine because of the corruption is equivalent to giving up on NYC because of Mamdani or AOC.
