AI answer to my question did (sainted) Ted Kennedy use Mitt Romney’s Mormon religion against him in their Senate race?

“Yes, Ted Kennedy and his campaign used Mitt Romney’s Mormon faith against him during the 1994 U.S. Senate race. They launched attacks that aimed to exploit the public’s unfamiliarity and biases regarding Mormonism, which was seen as a significant factor in the election.”

Especially rich in light of JFK’s speech , AI again:

John F. Kennedy’s speech to the Greater Houston Ministerial Association on September 12, 1960, addressed concerns about his Catholic faith and emphasized the importance of the separation of church and state. He argued that religious beliefs should not interfere with public policy and highlighted the dangers of religious intolerance

“.... to exploit the public’s unfamiliarity and biases regarding Mormonism...”

Or their familiarity with it.
Then to falsely equivocate Romney’s Mormonism with JFK’s Catholicism......gag me.

Mormon demon/Masonic inspired worship is not Catholic Christianity.

But that is just my opinion and I do not feel strongly about it.
