It’s an ill wind that is blowing in the Democratic Party’s direction.
At the beginning of the year — with President Donald Trump’s approval ratings in steady decline — it was conventional wisdom that Democrats would take control of Congress in November and spend the next two years pursuing, among other things, the president’s impeachment.
Then, with the war in Iran further testing Trump’s support, a Democratic win in November became even more certain.
But dramatic events can change things, and the growing dominance of the Democratic Party by Democratic socialist candidates is a phenomenon that could be a game-changer.
Stated simply, traditional Democrats are having an terrible time maintaining control in the face of an increasingly successful Democratic socialist movement.
The radicalism of which the socialists brag undermines the party’s potential short-term success vis a vis November and poses a long-term threat to party viability.
These are candidates who have said they want to reorganize the three branches of the federal government — legislative, executive and judicial — eliminate borders, close prisons and eviscerate defense spending. And that’s just the beginning of their curious recipe for utopia. Although ridiculous, it is no joke.
On Tuesday, a hardcore leftist Democrat won the party’s nomination for the U.S. Senate in Michigan. The move was a shock to party establishmentarians that further entrenches the socialists into the national Democratic organization.
Abdul El-Sayed may have just barely eked out his victory, but a win is a win is a win.

The radical communists will purge the progressives.
Still have the second amendment. DSA needs to be DOA.
The left turning on itself is always interesting to watch.
“The radical communists will purge the progressives.”
The public has been sufficiently groomed to desire communism.
Put yourself in the shoes of a 20 something voter. All your life you’ve been given a sense of entitlement. Constantly told about all the things you deserve. Once you get through government school, you’re told to pursue your passion and get a degree in something you love, (no concern about a career that will pay). The kid goes to college, gets into debt to the tune of $100k or more, and comes out with a degree in animal husbandry. Now this kid can’t get a job, is seeing inflation and a war driving up prices. At some point the kid thinks: “Well, I’ve heard communism is bad, but what we have now isn’t working for me, what do I have to lose?”
We know communism will make things worse, but I can appreciate the situation young people find themselves in.
“Socialist insurgency within Democratic Party getting stronger”
So the dems want to join the RINOs? About time... /s
The RAT party has no one to blame but themselves for the rise in the DSA. They bought into all the stupidity and insanity years ago, and now they are having conniption fits over the rise of a communist party that they helped to create.
It's also getting stronger because b) conservatives prefer to behave like "gentlemen" instead of fighting for Right. (And our "gentlemanly" behavior looks an awful lot like cowardice.)
I guess when the RATs take power again, and they've gone total Mao on our gun rights, freedom of speech, ad infinitum, conservatives might see the error of their ways. This time, though, it just might be too late.
The potentially ‘good’ result of this is those in the middle who have historically been sorta-blindly voting ‘D.’
Because dear old Dad always did, and it felt good... might actually come to take a break from that and vote for a sane candidate instead.
Maybe...
The DSA’s platform is , You’ll own nothing and be happy or else
The up and comers want to stop playing around.
You can vote your way into communism but you’re going to have to SHOOT your way out. Come on Tidepod munchers. Grow up!!!
What many people don’t realize is that the DemonRAT Party of Death has always been a Communist institutions. The job of their colleges and universities was to program and indoctrinate America’s bands of “medicinal” pot puffers.
The Democratic Party has been on an ever leftist tilt since the days of George McGovern. Now it is coming to fruition with the socialist and communist elements of the party taking over. Schumer and Pelosi thought they could rein in the radicals, but failed. The Democratic Party is imploding. However, we should not take any joy in this as now a powerful national party has formed hell bent on destroying our constitutional republic.
I’m old enough to remember the slogan, “kill a commie for mommy”.
I surmise that the DSA will steal its way into power and then they will need to be removed by the end of a barrel. The writing is on the wall.
Everyone that I know who is a DemonRat will vote blue, no matter who. Every. One.
The socialists are in control of the DemonRat party. And their voters don’t care.
Then the muzzies will purge the commies
1. Socialism will be the leading political ideology of multiple states, including a good number of federal elected positions, possibly even the presidency, and
2. The muslim invasion will continue unabated. First Michigan & Minnesota, now New York. The anti-American leftist marxist democrats will assist in every way with the spread.
