Jail records obtained by Fox 49 News show former Tallahassee Mayor and Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum is in the Baldwin County Jail in Alabama tonight.
The "TMZ" website quotes Baldwin County Assistant District Attorney John Oxford as saying the 46-year-old Gillum was jailed after reportedly failing a drug test.
In July he was pulled over for erratic driving, and later charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a felony and second-degree possession of marijuana, which is a misdemeanor. He was booked into the Daphne City Jail before being transferred to the Baldwin County Correctional Facility but was released shortly after, jail records show.
Oxford tells TMZ Gillum was taking part in a random drug testing program after his last arrest last month in Daphne, Alabama July 2nd.
TMZ reports Gillum did not show up for his expected drug test on the day it was called for, so he was tested at his court appearance Thursday.

I hope Ken Paxton soundly defeats Talarico, a homosexual activist.
All our Republicans running for Governor of Florida are great. What are you talking about?
I don’t care what people do in the privacy of their bedrooms but I DO care what they do on our city streets in Pride Parades. Lots of those parades look more like hatefests against traditional Americans than ‘pride’. Thankfully the sexual weirdo community overplayed their hand - and most of that drama is over. Boring stuff. Bud lighted.
Guys riding nude on bikes should be arrested - same with men dry humping each other in front of children and families. I have the same standard for straight men - NO PUBLIC KINKS. No sex parades.. keep it private. Also, anyone who runs on ‘use of a particular sexual kink’ is too neurotic and self centered for my vote. Write ‘em off.
The Texas church where Democrat James Talarico has delivered his radical sermons is pushing radical gender ideology on children, featuring books filled with sexually explicit content and transgender ideology.
Talarico, the Democrat nominee for the crucial Senate election in November, attends St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Austin. There, children have access to a library stocked with “banned books” that promote ideas rejected by most Christians, including books that contain descriptions of anal rape, incest, and oral sex, according to a Daily Wire review of its offerings.
Books found in the St. Andrew’s catalog include the book “Gender Queer,” which includes illustrations of oral sex and masturbation, and the book “All Boys Aren’t Blue,” which discusses anal rape and incest.
Really creepy stuff... thanks for sharing.
