About 15 years ago, I spent quite a bit of time in China. I was there on a project but did a bit of touristry stuff while there. One time I took a bus.... don’t recall where but we ended up doing a rest stop along the way. It was a place where plenty of buses would stop and sometimes a few of them would arrive at the same time. I had seen plenty of squat toilets in China but this was the first time walking into a room of squat toilets. They were all laid out in a nice 5 x 5 matrix or so with a trough urinal around the outside. As they say, there is nothing like pooping together with your friends and family....
Install several feet of dirt road for those international visitors from countries where the road is a toilet.
Nor do some from Mexico they toss the paper on the floor behind the toilet.
The were even instructed by Spanish speaking people no change happened.
