Cynicism, bitterness, and just plain hate. However, there is such a thing as righteous anger. But even at that, we’re told not to let the sun go down on our anger. It isn’t mentally, emotionally, or spiritually healthy. But personally, I do not like to be lied to. The Bible doesn’t preach tolerance, but it does preach forgiveness. What are we to do with those who refuse to ask for forgiveness?
**The Bible doesn’t preach tolerance,..**
It does preach patience and longsuffering.
I’m not angry. I’m just incredulous.

The forgiveness isn’t for their sake, it’s for yours. So whether they ask for it or not is irrelevant to forgiveness. It’s relevant to reconciliation, perhaps, but not forgiveness.
And that is what the bible teaches.
WWJD to someone who doesn’t ask for forgiveness?
