“I knew that in sharing my story, I would be judged for the decision I made. But I wanted to let other women facing the same difficult decision know that they weren’t alone.”
In recent years, with abortion rights under attack in the United States and increasingly since the Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade, stars including Kerry Washington, Chelsea Handler, Chrissy Teigen and Sally Field, have been candid about their personal experience with the medical procedure. Many have said they’ve wanted to open up about the fact in an effort to educate and create awareness for people around the fact that the experience is a common one, that they are not alone and to help erase any stigma around it.

I scrolled through to read about celebrities that I’m familiar with.
In contrast to most I read, Britney Spears stated this:
Reflecting on the process, Spears writes, “I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father ... To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.”
A Russian writer (Dostoevsky?) said that it was not good to publicly proclaim your mistakes; you will be defined by it the rest of your life.
Many of the stories are pure propaganda from true believers. But a couple of them show glimpses of reality. Britney Spears talks about the agony of going through an abortion and says Justin Timberlake pressured her into doing it, and that she would not have done so without his pressure. Danielle Brooks talks about wanting to be a mom and not wanting to get an abortion, but feeling like there was no other option. Jennifer Grey says it is an emotional decision that has stayed with her for her entire life. So I’m not sure all these stories are as pro-abortion as People magazine wanted to portray.
I don’t approve of abortion in general but in these cases, I approve of these idiots not reproducing.
Women who killed their children because they interfered with their careers. This is a hall of shame.
