I got to meet one of the commandos in Israel in 2019. He was our tour guide.
He told me incredible stories of the raid. He even disclosed things that were classified.
Apparently the transport jets carried specially designed cars that had weapons mounted inside the doors.
Amazing courage and bravery.
There’s been a couple of movies on the raid. The really sad thing was the one Israeli cabinet official who wouldn’t give up on negotiation. It was an act of war.
