It was called the ā60ās and 70āsā. Pretty much everything we did.So much fun! I remember the "clacker" toys where you slammed glass balls together on strings, Whamo! toys that were out to kill you, and running barefoot everywhere in the summer.

Latch-key lunatics. We figured stuff out. What happened on kud time, stayed as kid time. Our local pharmacist at the drug store used to be our go-to for patching us up, bandages, butterfly strips, Bactine, and he never said a word. Kid code was to never let your parents find out you got hurt. Occasionally a hospital ER visit was needed and we would all suffer. The parents would just “ground you” for a week or so.
