Give T to females and the same adverse reactions can occur.
The thing is, without T and all of its downsides human society would not exist....
About the only time a male gets to see the world without the powerful mental effects of T are in the refractory period just after orgasm... if we understood the mechanism of this we could use it to good result. This refractory period shuts down sexual drive and is likely a mammalian protective reflex to shut down mating drive once it is no longer helpful.
