So many woke movies failed hard, now Nolan, a director with a cult like following that generated presales like no other movie, has not generated a break-even revenue yet.
The movie has collapsed for viewership after word of mouth got out, and the media has been caught overhyping and censoring reviews like a spinning top.
I think it has been the “success” of this movie that is being overhyped.
They finally get a movie they can pretend appeals to modern audiences and have gone all into create a successful narrative.

As of two weeks, last Saturday, it was at $900 million. $300 million in profits. In two weeks.
I mentioned that I was at the Spider man movie yesterday. The previews for the upcoming “blockbusters” in the fall made me weep for Marvel/Disney.
I know these things are in production for years and they have no choice but to release them…but there is a “Black Panther” wannabe movie coming out that is going to fall…hard. I hope they haven’t bet the farm on it.
We are still a year or two from getting the “crap” out of the system.
