It has made 912 million in 17 days. I think the reason it has been slower than normal is that it was filmed for IMAX and at our theater that theater is still quite full whereas the other theaters assigned to the Odyssey were less full. Spider man is more set up for general theaters and 3D and was in 6 of the 11 theaters where we go to see movies.

I have never seen any of the Spider Man movies but only one made it to 1.9 billion and others have been in the 800 million range.

I saw the Odyssey with Kirk Douglas and liked this one much better because of what Hollywood can do with graphics. Overall I liked it but it was a bit long and took 40 minutes before it really got going. I thought it represented 750 BC Greek mythology pretty well and it did not seem to be that woke to me.
