I’ve been keeping up with the El Nino situation as it is very badly affecting the pacific Northwest, very dry winter and extremely hot and dry summer, supposed to be like this until next spring.🥵 I didn’t know El Nino affected the east coast.

I would check with Joe Bastardi and Weatherbell.com before investing in Hawaiian shirts and shorts for your mild New England winter. He's predicting that January, February, and March will be very cold in the East.
