“you make bread too? We make all our own bread.”
Yes, I do. It’s SO much better than store bought bread.
Yesterday was a surprise for Mrs. BBB333: English Muffins (I finally got grossed out at English Muffins that last two months in the ‘Fridge)!
It was a first attempt but we ended with six really nice muffins (minus the two we consumed)
Here’s a link to the recipe:

I halved the recipe Let it rest for two hours per the recipe) then rolled the dough out to 1/2” thick and let it rest for about 30 minutes before using a 3 1/2” ring to cut the muffins.
Once cut I let them rest for rest again for 30 minutes then placed the muffins into a heated pan...worked well but they needed to be covered for a few minutes to cook through and hit 200F.
BTW I used a bread machine to do the mixing...one still in the fridge and three frozen...
Bon Appetite!
Thank you. I was just thinking of Enlgish muffins! Thanks for the recipe.
I hope you aren’t using American flour. Italian flour is the best and “unfortified”. 4 times now I’ve “cured” people with gluten intolerance with Italian flour. I buy Anna Napoletana Tipo 00. $30 for an 11lb bag at Amazon.
Here’s a tip to take those English muffins to a whole nuther level. Fry them like donuts. You will not be disappointed.
