First off, thank Glenn Beck for this major change in beef and processed food prices. If local ranchers and farmers can process their own products to sell locally or regionally, it could well force national prices lower. As the president's meme states, nationally there are only four major food processors (think meats) and three of them are foreign owned, one being China (Smithfield, I believe.)
Thank Glenn Beck because he owns a cattle ranch in Idaho and earlier this week he had Prez Trump on his morning talk radio show and explained the monopolistic pressure. DO NOT thank the Congress who has been ignoring this unfair practice for reasons that should be obvious. 💰💰💰
Of course POTUS will have to attempt to do this by Executive Order, which the courts can block and the next president can cancel. 🤷
