And we see the same cowards on this threat (assuming they are indeed cowards and not just people infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome) who pee their pants and insist:
“Oh, we can’t do anything about it now, the mid-terms are coming up” or “Oh, we can’t do anything about it now, the Presidential election is coming up”.
Disgusting short sighted cowardice is how I see it, it it isn’t just TDS.
There is ALWAYS a mid-term election or a Presidential election on the near horizon. And for the people leaning on that excuse not to take action, when a Democrat is in the White House and will not use their power, those people feel empowered to stand up and yell that SOMETHING has to be done about Iran, knowing full well it won’t get done. And when there is a Republican in the Oval Office, they revert again to the ostensible fear that any action will hurt the chances in an election.
Never mind that it is an uphill battle in ANY election to maintain power in Congress or the Presidency.
How about we DO something when it is required rather than wringing our hands in fear that an election might be lost? That takes courage. Real courage and backbone to do WHAT is needed, WHEN it is needed.
Thank God we have a man in charge who understands it needs to get done, and finally has done what has been needed, and doesn’t fall back on the craven excuses every non-Democrat President has used, and as for the Democrat Presidents, they didn’t have any “craven” excuses. Presidents like Clinton, Obama, and Biden were fully onboard with an Iran that possessed nuclear weaponry

We should be done with political footballs. That only prolongs a long slide into hell.
Trump KNEW that an open conflict with Iran would be an immediate hit on his approval, would likely jar the economy, and cause a rise in inflation through fuel supply disruptions, causing real pain. He had to know that this was absolutely necessary to ensure the long-term survival and safety of U.S. interests, including at home. That is real courage, leading the brigade into battle despite the naysayers.
It's a matter of priorities.
I'd prefer Trump focus on purely domestic issues.
Stop protecting Ukraine and Israel. Stop bullying Denmark and Greenland. Leave Venezuela and Cuba alone.
Focus on the U.S., not the world.
