1) Pardon doesn’t cover State crimes.
2) He clearly doesn’t trust President Autopen’s pardon to survive judicial scrutiny.
Anybody who actually wants him to talk will have to arrange a really airtight immunity agreement.
What we have here is a dirtbag with a good lawyer.
