He doesn't employ mass death and destruction as a first recourse. That is not always a bad thing.

That Friendly Persuasion stuff is beneath contempt for me.
It merely strengthens Satan on this earthly plane and enables killers to find future victims.

The hostages held in a home invasion or during a bank robbery or school takeover try to plead with the evil ones, begging and projecting their own goodness onto the sociopathic or psychotic criminals. It doesn’t work.

In the early 1970s a favorite Arab ploy was to grab young Jewish children and take them to an upper floor of a building. As the parents watched below the Arabs would taunt them and laugh at them, then dropped the children down to their deaths.

Nonviolence does harm.
