Why is he being held on “assault” charges if he actually murdered those three people?

EVERYTHING is plead down in BLUE states. In NYS for example, assault is now “harassment” Grand theft auto is “unauthorized use of a vehicle”
Everyone gets an “appearance ticket” which they don’t show up for and a bench warrant gets issued no matter how heinous the crime.
