Race relations in my city seem pretty cordial, and I don't see much of blacks acting out. I am told it was much worse 60 years ago or so, but everyone just seems to get along nowadays.
I just wondered if it was because we had a lower percentage of blacks than the national average, but it turns out my county has a higher than normal percentage of blacks.

And it was and still is far more segregated than Mississippi where you simply coexist immersed with blacks naturally
