And are especially prone to refusing to perform a particularly hard case.
I think she’s one of three female board certified trauma surgeons in our state. “Not because women can’t do it. Or discrimination. Because they’re chicken.” (None of which are my words.)

Yes, a lot of women are risk averse but when they decide to take a risk it is a really stupid “Hold my beer” decision.

So here we have a hearsay statement of opinion based upon personal experience, presented to challenge a statitically proven fact favoring female competence.
This not only promotes the anecdotal and emotional over the larger facts, but confirms what I have come to expect and, in a perverse way, to enjoy, in this forum.
It rarely fails in its tendency to both provoke without foundation and disappoint simultaneously.
