Happened in Cerritos, ca...About 19 miles southeast of downtown L.A.
Apparently jdiot had crashed a truck (he had previously stolen elsewhere) at a Starbucks across the street from Lucille’s. Left blood in the truck, came into Lucille’s, started stabbing himself, running all over the restaurant, then started advancing toward the shooter. He did not obey commands to drop the knife, kept on advancing toward the shooter and shot by the permitted CC shooter.
The media reports the dead guy as “allegedly having a knife”, but does NOT say, that he was “allegedly” shot. They already didn’t believe the narrative. Never trust the media. They can’t report an event accurately.

Oh he definitely had a knife, a large hunting knife it appears in the screenshot I saw from a video camera in the restaurant.

Trust is easily lost, when reading current events.

My first thought is “this story should have a happy ending!’
But, in the Land of Fruits and Nuts, don’t count on it.
One no- no to emphasize is, “don’t shoot into the ceiling.”
