Unless the NDAA has changed substantially since when I read the version being tossed around over a month ago, I didn’t see anything in there that makes Israel our boss, as some claim. I’ll grant you I am not some sort of deep legal beagle who can extract meanings seemingly counter to normal English writing. Nor have I seen any Jewish space lasers setting fires in the US recently, though space based lasers to take out Iranian missiles seems like a great idea to me.
As always, a substantial amount of power lies with those who actually implement the monster (NDAA), and by monster I don’t mean inherently evil, I just mean huge and with almost infinite tentacles. But, hey, I like Calamari when properly prepared, and these matters ARE often complex, so...
IMO saying “Nearly every NATO country is now an Islamic s hole ruled by Sharia.” is far too hyperbolic, but, OTOH, the Israelis ARE terrific defense tech innovators, coming up with items like mods to F35’s that WE scramble to pick up on. Luckily they are willing to be generally cooperative. We have to have SOME allies, and such as Israel are more to our benefit than some of those Euro countries you mention, completely outside the issues associated with their Muslim tilt: The UK is a prime example — they can barely keep even ONE of their 6 on-paper-top-flight missile defense destroyers at sea for a few days... :-(
