It’s not only art jobs... Tens of millions of people will be replaced by AI... Get used to it because it’s going to start happening at a very fast pace.
Here’s a suggestion... Learn how to use a hammer... Construction and trades jobs are going to be the future... Right now these trades are very good paying, and it’s hard to find a plumber or an electrician... As AI forces people towards these trades... Getting a plumber or an electrician will become much easier in future. Who knows... Stone masonry may even make a comeback.
If everyone goes into trades who will make the tools and materials they use?
Millions of jobs were lost to the desktop pc.
Most of us were there for that. An automotive design studio had a large staff, drawing instruments, expensive desks, etc people worked in small shops to make that equipment and those supplies.
This has already happened. Anyone remember it?
Thankfully that is where my son and grandkids are, except one (the loopy lib one)...construction related
Good luck making a living in the trades competing against the massive number of tradesman that will flood the market from other jobs. The trades are only behind in the AI disruption they aren’t exempt.
