They are ALL “autistic.” Nearly 25 years ago I (briefly) sent my kids to an urban elementary school and at a bowling birthday party, a black mom talked about how much money she gets per month for her “autistic” son’s disability. I felt bad for her - until I heard EVERY other black mom there say the exact same thing, some of them for 4 or 5 kids apiece. They were getting thousands per month for this crap. BIG red pill that day. My kids didn’t finish the year, especially as those fake austists started bullying them (and the teacher) too. We paid up for a parochial school and never looked back. I can’t imagine how much worse this grift is NOW.

Now I hear it all the time.
Any one here notice that as soon as paddling was taken out of schools, made illegal in homes the rate of autism exploded.

Retired city school teacher here. In the district where I worked, some enterprising folks have set up cottage industries.
For a fee, they will teach your kid how to “fail” a special education evaluation.
Once a kid is classified as special ed, the parents will get a monthly payment, as you noted.
And as a bonus, it becomes almost impossible for the school to discipline the kid. He can behave pretty much any way he wants.
