I’ll have to do my own price checks before I believe that Kroger is cheaper than Walmart.
Aldi’s meat is cheaper than Walmart but has fewer options. Neither have as many options as a regular grocery store meat section. They just carry the most popular items not the most economical options.
My experience is Kroger is cheaper for items on sale. Walmart never has sales. Kroger will have great deals. Especially on loss leader deals like hamburgers or hotdogs. You just have to plan.
Likewise. I’ll also need to be convinced Walmart is cheaper than Aldi. Chips alone at Aldi are about 1/2 what they are at Walmart.
The survey sounds rigged to me.
We don’t have Kroger here but where we were before we did and it was usually higher than most.
We always look for sales/specials which is why these one size fits all surveys are poorly conceived. Sugar sits on the closet shrlf until it next goes on sale, if needed then.
