Our Florida stores are listed but the best would not deserve being added to just the list of good stores. That is, excellent, “PUBLIX.” Yes, Publix is expensive but they have a larger number of choices and quality unquestioned.

The article wasn’t a list of “best” stores, but cheapest stores. We lived in Columbus, GA, and the best shopping experience was at Fresh Market (expensive, but MUCH better than Whole Foods, and less birkenstocky than Sprouts), though Publix had the best overall selection. Publix gets brownie points for carrying Drake’s products at times (hard to find in Georgia). My wife found it expensive enough that Aldi and Winn-Dixie got more of our business when we lived there.
Publix has the Phlogman’s mustard. You get pure mustard when you squeeze it not a tablespoon of mixed water and mustard on your hotdog like you get from French’s or other brands. That is how they cheat...by adding extra water.
