NLI & “the portal” has killed college football for me. I fake interest now only because I live in a college town.
I live in Denton, TX, a town with not one but two large colleges, one of which is basically second-tier (UNT Mean Green), one of which is teamless. Since UNT isn't a player in the portal/NIL jungle, it might be fun to follow them. College football in general, though, has long since lost its cachet, at least since the beginning of the century.
