We had a 2006 Nissan Sentra until last year, still going strong at about 156K when a landscaping truck changed lanes into us on the freeway. Would have been a hit and run except that our car was still drivable, so we followed the guy for about a mile and a half until he finally pulled over.

The Sentra had enough body damage to total it, of course, so we ended up getting a 2016 Honda Accord with a six-speed manual. More bells and whistles than I really like, but we’ll keep it for quite a while, I hope.

My ‘05 Buick LaCrosse still going strong at 148000 mi. Been a good reliable car. Probably hard to find anything as practical nowadays with the same features. Just be sure to get the one with the 3800 engine.
